The main topic of the World Football Forum 2016, which will take place in Paris on July 7 and 8, 2016, will be the ‘New Geography of Football’ which covers the high-growth new markets for the international game.

Leading stakeholders from the football world are expected to attend the two-day event just days before the UEFA EURO 2016 gears up for its climax in the French capital on July 10.

Day 2 of the event will witness various high-profile Indian football representatives attending the World Football Forum at the L’Hotel du Collectionneur for a session on Indian football.

Kushal Das (General Secretary, All India Football Federation), Sunando Dhar (CEO, I-League), Iain Hume (Footballer, Atlético de Kolkata), Seema Jaswal (Indian Super League Lead Anchor, Star Sports) and Manish Bhasin (Sports Journalist & BBC Presenter) will be the panelists and speakers during the session entitled ‘India: Reform and restructuring in a rapidly growing market’.

The panelists and speakers are expected to discuss and present their views on various topics including the new three-tiered league system, the Indian national team and its FIFA ranking, grassroots football, home-grown talents and how to engage new audiences.
