Roberto Carlos reveals Ronaldo might fly down for ISL game tomorrow

Carlos and Mulder both asserted Dynamos have recovered from loss earlier in away leg to Mumbai

Albeit the loss in their opening fixture to FC Goa, the Dynamos from Delhi have been fairly consistent so far. Having listed 4 wins and drawn 1 out of their 7 matches so far, the franchisee coached by World Cup winner Roberto Carlos sit atop the ISL table with 13 points. Talking ahead of their next match against Mumbai City FC, the gaffer and senior player Hans Mulder sounded cautious and asserted the team is taking it one game at a time and not thinking about the play-offs yet.

What’s your impression of the Mumbai team?

Carlos- They are a good team but we are going to give our best. It’s very important for us to win tomorrow so that we can top the table.

You lost against Mumbai in the away leg, will that be playing on your mind this time around?

Mulder-We weren’t as concentrated as we should be. This time we want to win so we can lead the table

Reportedly Ronaldo is coming for the game; is that true?

Carlos- I invited him last week. I invited him personally. He wants to come but he works a lot. He is close by. He is in Dubai. So who knows.

You’ve had a short recovery time. You think that could play a major role?

Mulder- It’s not an excuse. We won’t think about the rest because the motivation is that if we win tomorrow, we will be the leaders.

Inspite of the wins, would you deem goalscoring to be a problem for the team?

Carlos-The goals will come in the right moment. I’m not going to put pressure my players. They will score when the opportunity comes. We are on top of the table. It’s more than enough. Maybe tomorrow my strikers wake up lucky and score 2 each.

Will Adil Nabi play?

Carlos- We are still trying to find him a spot. He came as a striker but he told me he wants to play in the midfield. To the enjoyment of Nabi’s fans, tomorrow he will play/

Into the business end of the season, some Indian player will leave for international duty. Could that play a part?

Carlos- No problem. I wish them luck. I hope they get enough rest. But I want them to do well. Very good luck to coach Constantine.
