#3 Jeje’s goal v FC Pune City

There is a reason why many call Jeje Lalpekhlua one of the most promising youngsters in Indian football right now, and the Chennaiyin midfielder proved his worth once again in the game versus FC Pune City on 23rd October.

The Indian chased down a long clearance from his defence, tussled with the Pune centreback Eduardo for the ball and somehow managed to free the shackles. With the ball bouncing right in front him, Jeje had a look upwards, saw that Edel Bete was off his line and went in for a delightful lob from 30 yards out.

The Armenian keeper tried his best to return to his line, but his flailing arms could only wave desperately as the ball went over his head and into the goal, thus handing the lead to the Machans.
