The situation of Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League can be referred to "Corridor of Uncertainty". Despite having former Manchester United stars like Dimitar Berbatov and Wes Brown to don the jersey of Kerala Blasters, the team failed to take ISL by storm.

Kerala Blasters' future in the 4th edition is uncertain! Even if they win the remainder of the fixtures, the team might not qualify. Since the first game, the team was unfortunate as they missed their key players due to injuries. A closer inspection might help us say that the team haven't got an opportunity to employ their full squad on any given match day.

Injuries have hindered the team's progress since the very start. Wes Brown, Dimitar Berbatov, Deependra Sigh Negi, and at last, Iain Hume are some of the big names who have been injured. However, young sensation Negi has announced that he's back training with the club, after suffering an injury the previous week.

He took to his official Facebook page to announce his return from injury and also wished injured striker Hume a fast recovery.

Kerala Blasters' official Facebook handle also confirmed the return of the young prodigy.

The former U-17 captain has already become a fan favourite among the Blasters' faithful as he became the super sub in the match against Delhi Dynamos. The 19-year-old pocketed the Hero of the game award in that game.

However, the player sustained an injury and was not available for selection in their previous games. In their last tie, Kerala Blasters' were held by ATK and that shattered the dreams of the team to make a cut into the top-four, although it's still mathematically possible.

It's cannot be said with certainty that David James will give him a place in the starting eleven but the return will certainly bolster the squad who are striving to rejuvenate before their clash against NorthEast United FC at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium.
