Thiago Santos equalized for the Mumbai side just two minutes after Coro's opening goal

Mumbai City FC had been on the backfoot for most of the first half and was a goal down when Coro scored in the 33rd minute of the match. But it didn't take long for the visitors to draw level in the match as they scored just two minutes later to silence the home crowd.

Balwant Singh made a good run on the right flank and cut inside the box and tried to find Achille Emana inside the box. The Cameroonian was not able to control the ball but laid it off for Thiago Santos, who took a shot from the edge of the box and his effort deflected off Everton Santos into the goal. FC Goa keeper Laxmikant Kattimani had no chance of saving it and he was rooted to the spot.
