3. FC Goa reduced to 10 men

FC Goa
FC Goa went down to 10 men in the 48th minute

FC Goa began the second half in the same fashion as they had ended the first half. They attacked right from the word 'go'. Goa were 2-1 ahead in the match courtesy a goal by Manuel Lanzarote after a mistake by the Mumbai defence just before the end of the first half.

The Gaurs suffered a setback when their right-back Seriton Fernandes was booked for the second time in the match and sent off in the 48th minute. The young defender, who had played all the minutes of FC Goa's campaign so far, was sent off when he tripped Everton Santos from the back. The Goa players protested the decision but the referee didn't pay any heed.
