TP Rehenesh (5.5): Rehenesh had a game to forget, letting in an own goal to being beaten twice again. He also looked shaky while dealing with regular shots on goal, maybe he needs to get his confidence back.

Jose (5.5): Jose had a poor day in the office and he was left chasing shadows during the second goal. He looked out of position a lot of times and Chennaiyin utilised those free spaces to wreack havoc in the NEUFC defence.

Hakku (5): Hakku had a nightmare of a game. He scored an own goal in the 12th minute and from there on, his confidence started sliding down. He was all over the place and his anticipation was also poor.

Nirmal (5.5): Nirmal was poor at right back and even though he tried to keep the flanks nice and compact, he seldom ventured forward and put in crosses or helped his team move forward.

Robert (5.5): Robert had a howler keeping the likes of Inigo and Francis quiet. His distribution and link up with Holicharan was also poor.

Adilson (6): Even though Adilson was overrun by the Chennaiyin midfield, he always tried to track back and win the second balls. Adilson was poor in anticipating, and his distribution was below par.

Dika (6): Dika had to double up as a second defensive screen after going 2-0 down and it hampered his natural game as he looked out of position and the quality of through balls that were expected from him, never came.

Marcinho (7): NorthEast's best player in the pitch. He seemed to be the only player who did not look affected by the scoreline and was seen helping the team in defence.

Holicharan (5): Came in as an early first-half substitute for Lenn and was poor in nearly all departments. His passing, tracking back, attacking moves or runs, all seemed out of place and he performed way below par.

Alfonso (6): Came on as a first-half sub for the injured winger Odair. Luis tried hard to get a hold of the game but failed miserably. He tried a couple of long rangers which skied over the goal post and the quality of the crosses was also very poor.

Danilo (5): Danilo was barely visible on the pitch. Poor link up with Marcinho and lacklustre passes were a trademark of his game.
