The team hailing from the southernmost state India have secured the services of former Manchester United star player Dimitar Berbatov. Dimitar Berbatov has already joined the Kerala Blasters camp in Spain. The player who visited the Indian Embassy in Bulgaria to know more about Indian culture joined Rene Meulensteen's camp yesterday. The player was delighted on meeting the Indian Embassy ambassador. They wished Berbatov to perform well with Kerala Blasters.

Berbatov joined the squad on Sunday. The player had his training with his new mates at the Marbella Football Center. Berbatov was found to be energetic and dynamic throughout the training session.

The player had some compact training preferred by Meulensteen during the second day with the club. With just one and a half month away from the kick-off of the latest edition, the training in Marbella will likely help Berbatov to gel with Iain Hume, who has also joined the camp this Sunday. Berbatov's early arrival will not only help him improve personally but also will certainly give the youngsters a great exposure under his leadership.

Kerala Blasters will likely play against some teams from the Segunda division and the exposure they will have in Marbella will certainly help them keep with the Indian climate and will help Rene Muelensteen build strategies against Spanish and Brazilian recruitment's who dominate the list of foreign players of Indian Super League.

In terse, the arrival of Dimitar Berbatov has already buoyed the squad and with him in their squad for the future ventures, Kerala Blasters could write some worthwhile things in the Spanish soil.
