The Kerala Blasters launched their new jersey for the upcoming ISL 2017-18 season, amidst much buzz among the fans.

The Kerala Blasters launched their kit today in two locations across Kerala, with the likes of Ian Hume, Ajith Sivan and Rino Anto helping to ensure that the occasion inside LULU Mall, Kochi and HiLITE Mall was spectacular, ahead of the ISL 2017 season.

Kerala Blasters had announced that the Manchester based Admiral Sportswears will be manufacturing the kits for the upcoming season. The all-yellow jersey was kept simple with a blue band on the collar and the sleeves, and a patched blue lines on the sides. the Shorts are full yellow.

The kit-launch, which took place at LULU Mall Kochi, featured striker Ian Hume, the young midfielder Ajith Sivan and defender Rino Anto. Kerala Blaster assistant coach Thangboi Singto was also present during the kit launch.

A promotional video for the fans was released before the kit was launched. Ian Hume said that he was happy to be back at Kerala Blasters and thanked the Kerala fans for their support when he was away with ATK.


He added, "I missed the fans for two years and its my time to repay you guys". Hume said Kerala fans are best in India and asked them to buy authentic jerseys from this season. A special ceremony was held after the kit launch to strengthen the bond between LULU Mall and KBFC.

The young midfielder Ajith Sivan said he was happy to be in Kerala Blasters team and has no words to express the feeling. Rino Anto said that he was happy to see lot of supporters turning out to see the function and asked them to support the team on 17th. Watch the video of the launch below.

The fans group Manjappada where singing the chants they made for the team throughout the function. At Calicut HiLITE Mall, Striker CK Vineet promised that there will be a away kit for Kerala Blaster this season onwards.

The new home jersey of Kerala Blaster will cost only Rs499.
