ISL 2017: Kerala Blasters invite fans to create music for the official team video

In a unique first, Kerala Blasters have taken fan engagement to a whole new level this time around by inviting talented musicians who are also passionate about the team to provide the background music of a brand film about the Blasters.

Through a Facebook post, the Kerala Blasters announced that this unique opportunity gives the die-hard fans, those who breathe football and music in the same breath, can do their bit for the team and win exciting prizes.

The concept of the video will be that the Blasters are going to blast their way to glory in the fourth Indian Super League (ISL) season and will strive to bring the cup home.

The interested fans need to register themselves before November 8 and the last date of submission of work in November 10. The musicians will be briefed by the Kerala Blasters team on the requirement for the video based on which they will have to create the music and share with the team.

The music has to be created on an electronic medium and the mood must be gritty, uplifting and aggressive. The shortlisted candidates will then be invited for a grand finale. The winning music will be included as the music for the video.

This kind of initiative is a first of its kind in Indian football where the fans are officially invited to play a major part in the team video. Almost all ISL teams have their own official anthem but this time around, there will be a few Kerala fans who will beat their chest and talk about their contribution towards the team, which will again aim to take a shot at the trophy.
