It was a thoroughly thrilling game between the two sides, with all the five goals coming in quick succession in the second half. Indeed, both the sides looked to have cancelled each other out. In fact, a draw would, in all probabilities have been a fair result.

However, a terrible howler from ATK goalkeeper was all that it took for Chennai to earn their second win of the season, in front of their home fans.
