LM: Abhinas Ruidas

Post a summer which was filled with murky contract conversations, Abhinas Ruidas is ready and raring to showcase his talent. Still only 22, the tricky winger will add some much-needed pace and unpredictably along the wings.

RM: Sanju Pradhan

In his early days, Sanju Pradhan was considered one of the brightest prospects to emerge from the Air India academy. Not to sound harsh, now 28, the winger has not lived up to his potential. But he still remains a useful resource who brings with him consistency.

CM: Leo Costa

Arguably the most impactful player for Mumbai City FC last season, the management's decision to bring back the Brazilian was a wise move. Costa will be Mumbai's midfield lynchpin and be the transition from defense to attack.

CDM: Sehnaj Singh

The dynamic midfielder was a mainstay for Mumbai last season. He was consistent, ran the yards and ensured Mumbai's forwards could play with freedom. He will once again be tasked with the role of breaking up the opposition attacks.

CAM: Éverton Santos

The most high profile player of this starting eleven happens to be a 31-year-old winger-cum-striker. Éverton Santos is a floater who is comfortable playing across the middle of the park. The coach will most likely allow him a free role, the Brazilan will be expected to play architect every time Mumbai attack.
