Matej Poplatnik
Poplatnik started his career with the Slovenian club, Zarica Kranj in 2010. After his two-year stint with Zarica Kranj, he moved to Triglav Kranj - the club for which he made 75 appearances across three seasons (2012-2015), scoring 24 goals. In his third year at the club, he finished as the top scorer of the Slovenian second division league with 18 goals. Poplatnik then moved to the Bulgarian club Montana in 2015, whom he represented for just one season (14 matches).
The 25-year-old Slovenian returned to his former club, NK Triglav Kranj in 2016 and is currently plying his trade in the Slovenian top division. He made 34 appearances for his side in the 2017-18 season across all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing two assists. The center-forward whose contract ends on June 30, 2018 can also be deployed as a right or left winger. With his blistering pace and clinical finishing, Poplatnik might be a constant threat to the opposition inside the box. With his goal-scoring abilities, he might find the back of the net on regular occasions for the Blasters, who are devoid of a proven match-winner.
