The second semifinal of ISL 2017/18 will see FC Goa take on Chennaiyin FC in a rematch of ISL 2015. FC Goa will look to continue their three-match winning streak while Chennaiyin FC will look to continue their fine away form.

Here, we take a look at some of the players you could pick for your fantasy team, ahead of this crunch match.

Goalkeepers

Karanjit Singh: Karanjit was rested against Mumbai City FC but produced a man of the match display against Kerala Blasters, making a number of top saves including a penalty. The shot-stopper has been one of the standout goalkeepers of ISL 2017/18 and is one of the biggest reasons for Chennaiyin FC’s strong defensive record.

Defenders

Jerry Lalrinzuala: The 19-year-old has provided two assists so far. Only Rene Mihelic has more assists amongst Chennaiyin FC players. The full-back has also attempted 754 passes, the second highest by a Chennaiyin FC player. Lalrinzuala’s potential at both ends make him a must-pick for your fantasy teams.

Sereno: Sereno has already scored once and assisted another goal. The Super Machans captain’s aerial prowess means that he is also a threat in the opposition's box and can contribute both defensively and in attack.

Seriton Fernandes: The Goan native has been solid so far. He has stuck to his tasks and has been difficult to get past for his opponent. He has made 61 tackles so far, the most by an FC Goa defender. Seriton has been FC Goa’s unsung hero so far and will have to at his best in the semi-finals.

Midfielders

Ahmed Jahouh: The FC Goa midfielder has been outstanding displaying both his offensive and defensive abilities. The Moroccan has controlled FC Goa’s midfield with his intelligent passing and was also not shy to get stuck in when required. He has attempted the most number of passes and tackles by a midfielder so far. His all-action style means he is a must-pick.

Manuel Lanzarote: The Spanish playmaker is FC Goa’s chief creator, having assisted 5 goals so far and is also a threat with his shooting having already scored 12 goals so far, the most by any midfielder in ISL 2017 so far.

Hugo Boumous: Hugo Adnan Boumous was brought in during the January transfer window and has made an immediate impact. The youngster has impressed with his technique, creativity, work rate and eye for passses. In just 375 minutes, he has scored twice and assisted as many.

Raphael Augusto: Augusto had gone off the boil recently but has shown signs of returning to his best. The 26-year old has attempted 760 passes, the most by a Chennaiyin FC player, his 51 attempted tackles are also the most by a Chenanaiyin FC player, the Brazilian’s class and quality combined means he is a must pick for your fantasy teams.

Rene Mihelic: The underrated midfielder has provided four assists, most by a Chennaiyin FC player despite playing only 703 minutes so far. The former Maribor midfielder is also one of the best set piece takers of ISL 2017/18.

Forwards

Coro: Coro after a lean patch comes into the semi-final clash in fine form having scored 5 goals in the three must-win matches for FC Goa. The former Espanyol forward has now scored 18 goals which is the highest in an ISL season and has contributed an astonishing 23 goals so far including 5 assists which is more than 3 teams in ISL 2017/18.

Jeje: Jeje is going through a wretched run, managing just one goal in the last 9 matches. However, he will look to find form in the semi-final against FC Goa, whose defence has struggled. The Super Machans will hope their talisman fires in the big clash.
