Can Jeje finally get his first goal of the season?

Match 15 of ISL 2017 sees FC Pune City take on Chennaiyin FC on Sunday in what promises to be an exciting match.

Both teams won their last match in the competition as FC Pune City will look for a third straight win, which can take them to the top of the table. On the other hand, Chennaiyin FC will look to start their away campaign with a win.

Here's who you should pick for your fantasy team!

Goalkeeper

Kamaljit Singh: FC Pune City’s goalkeeper is yet to keep a clean sheet in ISL 2017 but Pune showed an improved defensive performance against Mumbai City FC in their last match, only conceding a long-range Balwant Singh goal, with which he might have done better with. The keeper will be eager to atone for his error and with FC Pune City’s defence improving, Kamaljit can keep his first clean sheet of ISL 2017.

Defenders

Jerry: The 19-year-old produced a fine performance in Chennaiyin FC’s win against NorthEast United. Last season’s 'Emerging Player' impressed with his energy going forward and it was his freekick that led to the third goal for Mohammad Rafi. Jerry’s potential at both ends make him a must pick for your fantasy teams.

Inigo Calderon: Inigo Calderon has already scored a goal for Chennaiyin FC and despite his age, he has run up and down the wing. The former Brighton man has made six tackles, the most by a Chennaiyin FC defender, while only Augusto has attempted more passes than Calderon.

Rafael Lopez: The experienced defender has led FC Pune City’s defence, guiding the inexperienced defenders around him. The Spaniard is calm on the ball and starts FC Pune City’s attacks with his distribution from the back. He has also proved to be a threat on set pieces. He has attempted the third-most passes by a Pune defender and has also made eight tackles in three matches.

Sereno: The Chennaiyin FC captain has started the season superbly, impressing with his reading of the game and his tough tackling. His aerial prowess means he is also a threat in the opposition box and can contribute both defensively and in attack.

Midfielders

Raphael Augusto: Augusto has scored two goals in two matches and has played a part in three of Chennaiyin FC’s five goals so far. He has proved his all-round skills, shining for Chennaiyin FC both offensively and defensively. He has attempted 122 passes, the most by a Chennaiyin player and has also contributed defensively as evident by his tally of 11 attempted tackles, which is also the most by a Super Machans player.

Marcos Tebar: Spanish midfielder Tebar has been excellent so far, controlling the midfield with his passing and vision. He has completed the most passes by an FC Pune City player. The former Real Madrid player scored in his last home match against Delhi Dynamos. Tebar’s all-round game means he is impossible to ignore in your fantasy team.

Gregory Nelson: Nelson came on as a substitute in Chennaiyin FC’s first match and made a positive impact, due to which he was handed a start in the next match and impressed with his energy, pace and direct running. With FC Pune City’s right back struggling, Nelson may be the key for Chennaiyin FC.

Forwards

Marcelinho: The Brazilan has contributed with attacking returns in all the three matches and has contributed with five goals so far, joint most with Coro and Alfaro. With FC Pune City playing, Marcelinho is simply a must pick for your fantasy teams.

Emiliano Alfaro: Emiliano Alfaro scored a brace against Mumbai City FC, helping FC Pune City win their second successive match. He has now scored four goals in just three matches and is the joint top scorer of ISL 2017 along with Coro. With the form the Uruguayan is at the moment, he just cannot be ignored.

Jeje: The highest Indian goal scorer of the ISL with 13 goals, he will look to finally get his first goal of ISL 2017 after failing to find the net in Chennaiyin FC’s first two matches so far. Jeje scored the winner against FC Pune City in ISL 2016 and with FC Pune City’s defence not in the best form, Jeje can open his account for this season.
