The 11th match of ISL 2017 will see FC Pune City take on Mumbai City FC in the Maharashtra Derby. Both teams are coming into the match on the back of contrasting wins with FC Pune City thrashing ATK, while Mumbai City FC narrowly beat FC Goa.

With a number of top players set to take part in this game, let's take a look at some of the footballers you could pick in your ISL Fantasy team.

Goalkeeper

Kamaljit Singh: FC Pune City’s goalkeeper did well against ATK making a number of crucial saves which kept the ATK attackers at bay and helped FC Pune City win their first match of ISL 2017. With Mumbai City FC yet to convince offensively Kamaljit has a good chance of recording his first clean sheet of ISL 2017.

Defenders:

Lucian Goian: Lucian Goian has replicated last sheasn's form admirably, leading Mumbai City FC’s defence. His propensity to go into tackles and his rugged defensive style means the Romanian is sure to score more points than the other defenders.

Rafael Lopez: The experienced defender has led FC Pune City’s defence guiding the inexperienced defenders around him. The Spaniard is calm on the ball and starts FC Pune City’s attack with his distribution from the back. He has also proved to be a threat on the set pieces.

Gurtej Singh: The Punjab-born defender has been decent without being spectacular. The former JCT man is a no-nonsense defender who is not afraid to go in for a tackle. With the quality of FC Pune City’s set-pieces, Gurtej Singh can also provide attacking returns.

Midfielders:

Achilles Emana: Achille Emana produced a superb performance against FC Goa dominating the midfield with his ball-carrying ability and physicality. The burly midfielder set up numerous chances which Mumbai’s attackers mainly, Balwant Singh, failed to take advantage of. He himself had good opportunities to score but couldn’t find the finishing touch. With Pune possessing an inexperienced midfield, Achilles has a good chance of making a decisive impact.

Marcos Tebar: Spanish midfielder Tebar has been excellent so far, controlling the midfield with his passing and vision. He has completed the most passes by an FC Pune City player. The former Real Madrid player scored in his last home match against Delhi Dynamos. Tebar’s all-round game means he is impossible to ignore in your fantasy teams.

Rohit Kumar: The Delhi-native has been impressed for the Stallions with his tough-tackling approach, and his work rate. He has made the most tackles by an FC Pune City midfielder so far. The 20-year-old also popped up with a goal in FC Pune City’s win over ATK.

Abhinash Ruidas: The speedy winger has been bright so far without getting rewrds for his good work. The former ATK winger’s pace and dribbling means he is always a threat to the opposition. Given how much damage Chhangte a player with a similar skill set as Ruidas caused to FC Pune City’s defence, Ruidas will fancy himself to score his first goal of ISL 2017.

Forwards:

Balwant Singh: The strongly-built Balwant Singh made his presence felt in Mumbai City FC’s win against FC Goa. Balwant as always worked hard upf ront and was a nuisance for FC Goa’s defence with his movement. He had several oppurtunities to score but just couldn’t convert the chances. With his tireless running and clever movement, Balwant is a good bet to score against FC Pune City.

Marcelinho: FC Pune City won 4-1 away against defending champions ATK recording their first win of the season. Their captain Marcelinho led from the front scoring 2 and assisting further 2 goals. Last season’s Golden Boot Winner has already contributed with 5 goals so far, the most by any player in ISL 2017.

Emiliano Alfaro: Emiliano Alfaro has started the season superbly scoring goals in each of his 2 matches proving his goal scoring abilities. The Uruguayan striker’s clever movement and lethal finishing means he must be a sure pick for your fantasy teams. Mumbai’s shaky defence means Alfaro has a good chance to score in his 3rd consecutive match.
