Lonestar Kashmir continued their disappointing form at home as they split points with Delhi United on Sunday in the I-League 2nd Division at the TRC Turf Ground, Srinagar.

Lonestar Kashmir XI : Seikh Uddin (GK), Hayat Handoo, Aakif Javaid, Arun Nagial (C), Akshay Hurria, Vikram Singh, Dahyanng Ooo, Alexandre Tabillion, Gulshan Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Gagandeep Singh

Delhi United XI : Royal Basumatary (GK), Gursimrat Singh, Rakesh Masish (C), Rishad PP, Md. Shah Jahan, Henry Marboh, Sunny Thakur, Arkwis Wanniang, Akshay Pashilkar, Nirmal Bisht, Bickyson Kharkongor

Aakif Javaid opened the scoring for the home side in the 28th minute after the hosts dominated the proceedings from the start of the game.

Lonestar Kashmir kept on playing positive football in a bid to increase their lead. Delhi United were struggling to keep pace with the Lonestar Midfield and were trailing 0-1 at the break.

In the second half, Delhi United looked a tad better with going forward but Lonestar Kashmir still dominated the proceedings.

As the final third of the game approached, Delhi United resorted to long balls and wing play, hoping to find a red shirt in the box to find the back of the net.

Constant pressure finally paid off as substitute Kouame Konan Zacharie slot home past a hapless Seikh Uddin to even things up.

After the goal, the Delhi based side looked all pumped up and momentum was on their side. United kept on pressing looking for the lead, but Lonestar held them through for a point apiece.

With this pulsating draw, Lonestar Kashmir still linger at the bottom of the table with just two points from seven games while Delhi United keep their fight for qualification alive to the next round as they are now at the fourth place with seven points from as many games.
