Harry Maguire will come up against the Premier League's best player when England take on the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League semi-final.
Dutch captain Virgil Van Dijk picked up the Players' Player of the Year award following a standout campaign with Liverpool and Maguire was full of praise for his counterpart and admitted to studying the defender's game closely.
"Van Dijk is a brilliant defender and like you said people will learn from him and so they should," Maguire said.
The Leicester City centre-back also called on fans to behave themselves as the prepare to travel to Portugal for the last four clash and a possible final against the hosts or Switzerland.
"It's really important (for fans to behave). I am sure they are going to go over there and enjoy themselves and so they should....Go and have a good time but there need to be boundaries and I'm sure they'll stick to them," Maguire added.
