Mizoram Premier League champions Dinthar FC have strengthened their backroom staff by signing Danny Lalduhawma as assistant coach and Mr. Lalawmpuia as assistant manager.
Danny Lalduhawma, originally from Aizawl Venglai and a 2011-12 NIS-Patiala batch passout, has joined Dinthar FC as their assistant coach for the 2013/14 season. Danny is a former Indian Air Force player, who has represented Services in the national championship for the Santosh Trophy from 2002 to 2006 as a member of the Services squad.
Danny also successfully coached Dinthar FC’s biggest local rival Chanmari FC, who only a couple of seasons back were a third division club.
Meanwhile, a football lover in the form of Mr. Lalawmpuia has been brought on board by the club as assistant manager.
