Today, Mizoram Police FC defeated Reitlang FC by 5-1 in a one-sided encounter at the inaugural edition of the ‘Mahindra 2 Wheelers’ Mizoram Premier League match played at the Lammual ground in Aizawl. Mizoram’s top striker F. Lalrinpuia scored a hattrick in the second half to ensure that Mizoram Police do not lose their second match in a row. Mizoram Police had been upset by minnows FC RS Annexe in their opening match on October 26, but they recovered well today by thumping Reitlang FC, the only team in the MPL who are from outside the state’s capital city of Aizawl.
