Mohammedan Sporting have started their preparations for the 2014 Kalinga Cup

Under the watchful eyes of Chief coach, Tope Ayodeji Fuja, the Black Panthers of Indian football, Mohammedan Sporting club started training for the 2014 All India Kalinga Cup football tournament at the Satyabrata Stadium, here in Cuttack on Thursday morning.

The former champions will face the winner of today's match between Radha Gobinda Club and Kalighat MS on Saturday in a quarter-final round fixture. During today's session, Mohammedan boss Tope Ayodeji Fuja mainly focused on endurance training and practising for various specific situations.

After the practice session, Fuja stated, "Unlike Durand Cup, we have reasonable level of preparation coming into this tournament and I am hopeful for a good result." He added, "We will take it one match at a time and plan according to that. Coming into a knock-out tournament, you need to stay focused and react according to what the situation demands."
