Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC have added pacy winger and Indian international Anthony Pereira to their midfield. Anthony joins the Mariners like team mate Rowilson from Dempo SC on a one year contract. After signing the contract with the Mariners Anthony said, “Mohun Bagan is a big team and I am extremely happy to have joined this club. With whatever quality I have, I will give my best and will try to bring success to my new club.”

Anthony Pereira started his professional career with Vasco SC in 2004 and two years later joined Dempo SC where he played seven successful years, winning NFL/I-League titles.

With Armando Colaco leaving Dempo SC and the club is looking to bring in younger players and as a result 31-year-old Anthony was released by Dempo. Anthony also held discussions with East Bengal Club, but in the end decided to sign for Mohun Bagan AC.
