German champions Bayern Munich held an open training session and vice-captain Thomas Muller spoke to the press on Thursday as the club prepared for Monday's (12th August) German Cup match away to fourth tier Energie Cottbus.
Speaking at the Bayern training camp at Rottach-Egern, 35 miles (56 kilometres) from Munich, Muller was asked about transfers and whether he expected any more players to come in.
In response he said he was "neither involved nor informed".
But he agreed the club needed new players.
Muller also said the players were upset about their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in the German Supercup last Saturday but that the coaches had managed to take their minds off the reverse by working them hard at the training camp.
