ONGC, Air India and 2014 Santosh Trophy champions Mizoram will be three outstation sides in the six-team Kashmir Invitation Football Cup, which starts from May 25, according to his news report of greaterkashmir.com
The other three teams are local sides JK Bank, JK Forests and JK Police. The tournament is being jointly organised by J&K Football Association (JKFA) and J&K State Sports Council (JKSSC). The matches will take place in Srinagar, Baramulla and Bandipora
The organisers failed to rope in top clubs of the country unlike in 2012 when Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting took part.
Six teams have been divided into two groups of three with Group A comprising of JK Bank, JK Forests and Air India while Group B has ONGC, Mizoram and JK Police. Further details of the tournament will be announced in a press conference on May 22.
