"Rafael Benitez takes control of Dalian Yifang as new manager"
Rafa Benitez was unveiled as the new manager of Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang on Tuesday and told the reporters he wants to 'leave a legacy' at the club.

Former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez took over the position of head coach of Dalian Yifang on Tuesday.

The Spaniard replaced South Korean coach Choi Kang-hee, who announced his resign on Monday afternoon.

Benitez, who has also managed at Newcastle United, Chelsea and Inter Milan, has reportedly received a £12million (GB pounds) a year pay packet to manage the Chinese Super League club.

Despite being a UEFA Champions League winning manager, Benitez is under no illusion that this job will be a challenge, telling journalists, "we are coming to a new country, a new culture and we will need help."
