Real Madrid News: 'He's an important player, he's proved that, and now he needs to prove it again' Zidane on Bale
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane talked on Friday about Neymar, Gareth Bale and a Spanish Primera Division meeting with Real Valladolid.

Zinedine was staying tight lipped over the possibility of signing Neymar, although he admitted the Brazil international's future would be the main topic of conversation until the transfer window closes on 2nd September.

The Real boss also discussed the decision to keep Gareth Bale at the Santiago Bernabeu, saying: "He's an important player, he's proved that, and now he needs to prove it again, what kind of player he is."

Real sit top of the Spanish standings after beating Celta Vigo 3-1 in their first match of the new season, but Zidane isn't taking three points from Saturday's game against Real Valladolid for granted.

"They ended up well last season. They're a brave team, they want to play well and I'm sure that's what they're going to do here," said the former France international.
