I-League side Shillong Lajong FC kicked-off their pre-season with their first training session earlier today on the Fifa Turf at the Polo Ground in Shillong. New signings Singam Subash Singh, Ongnam Milan Singh and Vinay Singh joined the squad in its first training session, under the guidance of head coach Thangboi Singto.The club’s two new foreign signings, Cornell Glen and Charles Edoa besides Japanese striker Taisuke Matsugae, who had joined the club last season, will be arriving later this month.
The first day saw the senior team squad members train with a lot of intensity and energy.
Shillong Lajong FC is set to usher in the new season with a well balanced team composition even as Shillong prepares to welcome a new I-League team in town in Rangdajied United FC.
