Smoke from fire at training ground interupts Brazilian Serie C match
A match between Atletico Acreano and Luverdense for Brazil's Serie C (3rd division), was interrupted due to a heavy smoke caused by wildfire nearby the game's stadium in Rio Branco, in the northern region of the country.

Atletico Acreano's performance analysis team recorded the moment where referee Charly Wendy Deretti stopped the match in the 6th minute.

According to the club's performance analyst, Ivan Mazzula, the game had a 15-minute delayed start because of the lack of an ambulance and he couldn't determine the cause of the wildfire, as there was no signs of fire or smoke coming from the training camp attached to the stadium before the game started.

The match was interrupted for seven minutes, according to Mazzula, before being resumed.

Atletico Acreano went on to win the match 3-2.

Both teams were in the last two positions of their group and were relegated to Serie D (4th division).
