India U16 team was certainly the better side in the first match they played against the USA U16 team. They created more chances, they were much better organized, yet USA U16 team won the game 1-0. The one thing the Indian team lacked was finishing ability. They failed to convert chances in the box with the Indian forwards failing to hit the ball into the open net on two occasions. Gurkirat, Vikram & Ravi all had good chances but they failed to make the most of them.
India will be frustrated after their defeat against the USA U16 team as it also ended a long unbeaten streak. They only have themselves to blame for it. Bibiano Fernandes, the India U16 team coach will have to ensure that the finishing is clinical and the boys are confident in the final third.
