Sunil Chhetri’s summer camp kicks-off on June 16

Indian National team captain Sunil Chhetri will conduct a football summer camp at the Ambedkar Stadium from June 16 (Sunday) onwards. The camp, being organised by LetzPlay FC in association with the Delhi Soccer Association, will continue till June 23, 2013.

Chhetri, who captained India to two successive Tournament triumphs, the SAFF Championship 2012 and the Nehru Cup 2013 sounded excited at the prospect of interacting and teaching young kids the finer aspects of the ‘Beautiful Game.

Sunil said: “It’s not just a Camp pulled out from the dictionary; rather, the kids will be taking back Home of how they need to take it up further. The idea is to give the kids a proper feeling of how a training process should be.”

He added: “I will personally talking and interacting with the kids and tell them about the mistakes which I made at their age. I will also have a separate session with the parents.”

Letzplay FC, which stays committed to youth development, will be taking care of the kit for the participants, supply the balls and also proper nourishment and nutrition to the kids after and in between the training process.
