TAL Crystal Ball: Gameweek 10 Division 4 (Bangalore)

Zaheer PA has been outstanding for Tornadoes and will be called upon as his side take on in-form Dragons

The final two gameweeks are upon us and we have two notable battles that will go down to the wire. Simba Sports FC and Bangalore City FC B will fight it out for the title; Simba currently lead BCFC by a point at the top.

The second battle is for the final promotion spot. United 4th Phase FC are currently in third but Tornadoes are right on their heels. Kammanahattan and Dragons also have an outside chance but it is highly unlikely that they will finish in the top three. GW 10 takes place at FSV Arena, Bangalore on 14 May 2017.

7:30 AM – Pegasus FC v United 4th Phase FC

The opening match of GW 10 has Pegasus FC taking on United 4th Phase FC. Pegasus came the closest they have been to winning last week but they ended up losing 1-0 to Can-a-bees FC. They are winless and only a miracle can save them from finishing last.

United 4th have tightened their hold on third but any slip-ups and Tornadoes are right behind them snapping at their heels. United 4th should see this game out quite comfortably.

Crystal Ball: Pegasus FC (1) – (4) United 4th Phase FC

8:30 AM – The Aces v Can-a-bees FC

The second game of the day has The Aces taking on Can-a-bees FC. The Aces have lost their way once again and their revival a couple of weeks back was only temporary. Can-a-bees won their second game of the season last week and will be looking to build on that.

Both teams will want to finish on a high note so expect an all-out attacking game. Getting out of the red zone will be an added bonus but finishing with more wins than their nearby rivals will mean more for both as they look to pick up a third win for the season.

Crystal Ball: The Aces (3) – (2) Can-a-bees FC

10:00 AM – Rangers FC v Bangalore City FC B

Next up, struggling Rangers take on title-chasing Bangalore City FC B. Rangers have been extremely unlucky not to have picked up more points given their performances but as it stands they are 11th in the table.

Bangalore City FC B showed their determination last week when they stuck at it till the end to eke out all three points. Rangers will only be playing for pride but a win for them here could hand Simba the title before the final week. BCFC will be in no mood to play games so expect a goal fest as we come to the final stages of the season.

11:15 AM – Tornadoes FC v Dragons AFC

The match of the day has Tornadoes FC taking on Dragons AFC. Both teams are vying for the final promotion spot but Tornadoes have a better chance at it. Dragons though have been in fine form and have only conceded two goals in their previous six outings.

Danny Khumlo and his men will be tasked with stopping the runaway golden boot nominee M Khaleel, who has 20 goals in 9 games. Tactically this match is well poised and should deliver a cracker for its audience.

Crystal Ball: Tornadoes FC (1) – (1) Dragons AFC

12:30 PM – Royal Eagles FC v Kammanhattan All Stars

The midday kick off has Royal Eagles taking on Kammanhattan All Stars. Royal Eagles have had a disappointing season so far and their occupancy in the top half of the table seems ages ago.

Kammanhattan threw away a golden opportunity at competing for the title when they lost to Tornadoes in GW 8 but made things even worse by losing to Brothers and now their hopes of promotion are extremely slim. Expect Kammanahttan to avenge their losses but it might be a case of too little too late.

Crystal Ball: Royal Eagles FC (1) – (3) Kammanhattan All Stars

2:00 PM – Brothers United v Simba Sports FC

The final game of the day has Brothers United taking on league leaders Simba Sports FC. Brothers have had a decent run so far in their inaugural season in TAL and will be one of the teams to watch out for next season but for now they come up against Simba and their potent attack, for which they may not have the answers yet.

Simba can't afford to drop any points given their slender lead over BCFC so a win is a must; win this game and a draw would suffice in the final week against BCFC for them to lift the title.

Crystal Ball: Brothers United (1) – (3) Simba Sports FC
