8:00 AM – Yataghan Internazionale v Samba FC
Familiar foes take on each other in the first match of the day when Yataghan meet Samba FC. Yataghan are coming off a loss, albeit to champions elect Parikrma. Samba FC got their second win of the season last week when they beat Mercurial by a solitary goal. These are two of the most physical teams in the league and it will be interesting to see how the game pans out. Both teams are struggling for want of a robust attacking threat up front which should make this game a low-scoring affair.

9:30 AM – FC Kougen Kikou v Mavericks FC
The next game sees Kougen Kikou drawn against Mavericks FC. FCKK are fresh from a superb comeback victory over Gremio FC and will have their tails up. Mavericks meanwhile are struggling to string together results and if Kougen Kikou can replicate the gameplay they showed against Gremio, this could very well turn out to be a thrashing for Mavericks FC.

11:00 AM – Mercurial FC v Project 7
Mercurial FC take on Project 7 in the 11 AM kickoff in what is the second meeting between the sides. Though Mercurial emerged as winners in their previous game last season, Project 7 will be the favorites based on current form. Both teams desperately need the points but one can bet on Project 7’s superior attack to take them home in this one.

12:30 PM – Gremio FC v Rare Dare FC
If not for Gremio’s shocking form this season, they would have been the favorites to win this game against Rare Dare. This added to the assured performances we have seen from Rare Dare so far gives them the edge. Gremio though have the talent to wriggle out of this situation and will also need the points to steer clear of relegation. This will be a tight game with little to choose between the sides.

2:15 PM – Parikrma v Supernova FC
The two promoted sides from Division 2 of last season go head to head in the first blockbuster of the day. Supernova were promoted as champions and were touted to hunt for the title in division 1 too, but it has actually been Parikrma who have taken that honour and are the top side in the league.
Supernova in fact, beat Parikrma when these two sides met last season but the same result this time around will actually be a surprise result. Such has been the dominance of the Parikrma side. Supernova have lost some crucial games and will need to do really well to get a result out of this one.

3:45 PM – Flipkart FC v Horizons FC
The second big game of the day sees Flipkart FC fighting it out with Horizons FC. Flipkart really gave Horizons a run for their money last season before the quality in the Horizons side eventually saw them run out 3-1 winners. But the same cannot be said of the current Horizons team, much changed from Season 2. Flipkart actually have the potential to trouble their opposition and can even come out on top with some shrewd tactics, some of which they have already displayed this season.
