Former Tottenham Hotspurs striker Teddy Sheringham believes Mauricio Pochettino is still the right man for the job at the London club as the Spurs look ahead to the new season.
Pochettino led his side to the final of the UEFA Champions League on 1st June, only to lose 2-0 to Liverpool. Despite making much progress in be able to compete against Europe's elite and consistently securing a place in the Champions League, the lack of a major silverware has led to much frustration for Pochettino, fuelling speculation of possibly leaving the club.
Sheringham was also devastated on the sudden passing of former teammate Justin Edinburgh, who died on 8th June following a heart attack.
Tottenham Hotspurs will be coming to Singapore for the International Champions Cup, where they will face Serie A side Juventus on 21st July.
