United SC's 'United Talent Hunt 2015' a big success

The participants enjoy football in the rain.

United SC in collaboration with Shyamnagar Tarun Sangha organized 20-days long 'United Talent Hunt 2015', which came to an end on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Shyamnagar Tarun Sangha Ground with two matches between the boys who participated in the talent hunt.

The main object behind this project is to find new local talents for United SC's youth teams and engage kids to play football.

Legendary defender, Subrata Bhattacharya was the chief guest on the afternoon with Lalkamal Bhowmick, Snehasish Chakraborty, Sukhen Dey and Sangram Mukherjee also present besides veteran coaches Murari Sur and Dulal Dev, all there to encourage the budding footballers.

“I am amazed to see all these young kids playing despite the heavy rain and they are brilliant. I want to thank Nabab Bhattacharya, Murari Sir and United SC for providing such platform to the kids of Shyamnagar, and I would also like to request to parents that please send your kids to the ground it will help them to become a good human," Subrata Bhattacharya said.

Lalkamal said, “After observing these kids for last 20 days, I can say that at least ten of these players will play I-League in future.”
