Barely 10 days after the video of a marten invading and biting a player in the Swiss Super League went viral, another animal has run riot on the football field – this time a chicken! In a Championship match between Blackburn Rovers and Burnley, a chicken somehow managed to enter the pitch at Ewood Park and caused quite a commotion as the stewards were unable to catch the cockerel, which was probably protesting the reign of poultry giants Venky’s at Balckburn. The animal evaded the hands of the fumbling steward 3 times before it jumped over the advertisement board and was finally caught by an accomplice of the steward. Hilarious stuff!
The match ended in 1-1 draw.
