Arsene Wenger must be one of the most under-fire managers in the English Premier League this season.
Despite taking Arsenal to a top-four finish consistently since joining the Gunners in 1996, he has not found a permanent place in the hearts of the Arsenal faithful.
Arsenal suffered a 2-3 defeat at the hands of Stoke City at the Brittania Stadium on Saturday, their fourth defeat in the league. They are currently lying 6th in the premier league table and face Newcastle at home and Liverpool at Anfield in the next two gameweeks.
The Arsenal fans have not been pleased by the football they have witnessed by Wenger’s side and have not tried to hide their displeasure at Wenger, who they believe should no longer be the manager of the club they support.
After the defeat at Stoke, the Arsenal fans waited outside the coach which the team were boarding and made their dissatisfaction clear as they booed Wenger when he was getting on the coach. They were also not shy of shouting obscenities at the manager who won them the FA Cup seven months ago.
They even targeted young forward, Joel Campbell, saying, “Joe, leave! Do your best thing, leave! Get out while you can Joe!”
