Princeton Rebello might be a name that is familiar to Indian football fans. The 18-year-old caused quite a stir when he revealed how he rejected Premier League club Watford's advances to remain in contention for representing the Indian national team.

The Goa-born Rebello is back in the spotlight again. Earlier today, against Bangladesh at the ongoing SAFF U18 Championship in Bhutan, the youngster hit a freekick so well that it not only made it the goal of the match but also handed India a 3-0 lead in the game. Watch the goal that had undertones of the devastating Roberto Carlos and his powerful freekicks from range here:

Bangladesh mounted an epic comeback to eventually prevail 4-3 over the Indians, but it was Rebello's goal that proved to be the game's highlight. It was the perfect combination of power, technique, and placement - one that almost always leads to a goal.

While Bangladesh's spirited win stole Rebello's thunder, such eye-catching goals could soon see him in the senior Indian team picture, with head coach Stephen Constantine no stranger to handing debuts to youngsters.

With today's loss, India are off to their worst possible start to the SAFF U18 Championship. They next face Bhutan, Maldives, and Nepal in a tournament where the team with the most number of points after playing every participating team once will lift the trophy. India also lost the 2015 title to Nepal in a final that went to a penalty shootout.
