What is the lore behind Iris in Fortnite?

While Iris is one of the most popular characters in the Fortnite Metaverse, she has little to no lore attached to her and has never played a significant role in the storyline. However, based on her time of release (Chapter 2 Season 2) one thing we can deduce about her character is that she could potentially be one of the many spies at play during the season.

While it isn't confirmed, Iris could fit the role of a spy working for Midas’ GHOST and trying to take SHADOW down.
