What is the lore behind Ruby in Fortnite?

According to the lore, Ruby is a secret agent. She is on a secret mission with a top secret agenda. It's so secret that even Epic Games does not know what the character is up to. Her official in-game description read, "If anyone asks, you don't know me."

For this reason, many characters such as Midas, Sleuth, Noir and Kor painted her as a very suspicious individual during Chapter 3 Season 3 when she was featured as an NPC on the island. Perhaps the most interesting thing about Ruby is that she has a sister, Opal. This information was revealed in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. On that note, not much else is known about Ruby.
