Batman: Arkham Knight release postponed to June 23rd, New PS4 gameplay trailer released

Batman: Arkham Knight

Rocksteady will bring an end to the Arkham trilogy with the release of Batman: Arkham Knight later this year. However, the game has been delayed by a few weeks. Batman: Arkham Knight was to be released on June 2nd but the date has been pushed back to June 23rd. This was announced via the game’s Twitter account and through the latest PS4 gameplay trailer that you can view below. There was no reason given for the delay.

This is the second delay the game has had to face. It had been postponed from October 2014 to June 2015 last year so, the latest delay would not hurt a lot. The delay is mostly to allow developers time for polishing the game as gamers have become frustrated with the launch state of many AAA games of late.

Either intentionally or unintentionally the new delay is that it puts the game’s release after this year’s E3 conference. This is good news as it will allow the press some time with the game so keep your ears open for hands-on previews from the event.

Needless to say, we will be there at this year’s conference to bring you the latest updates about Batman: Arkham Knight and all the other games to be released in June.

Batman: Arkham Knight will launch on June 23rd for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
