Bethesda set to host first ever press conference at this years E3

The press conference will be held on June 14th

The Annual Electronic Entertainment Expo has had a very predictable conference pattern through the years, with big names like Ubisoft, Nintendo, Sony, EA and Microsoft all presenting their game slates each year. But things are going to be a bit different this time, as Elder Scrolls developers Bethesda have announced their first ever E3 press conference.

According to Bethesda’s recent blog post, they will be holding their first ever E3 Showcase on June 14th, two days before the official E3 event.

“We’re hosting our first-ever E3 Showcase in Hollywood, CA on June 14th and we’ve saved some seats just for you, our fans. Feel like a celebrity by attending our most exciting event yet, live and in-person! Keep an eye out – in the coming months we’ll be sharing details on how you can register to attend.”

Bethesda has not given out any details or hints on what this conference will entail, stating simply that they were ‘almost ready for our close up’.

Given that media press conference in Hollywood isn’t cheap, this is very likely to be a major announcement. Fans have already boarded the hype train on this, with many believing that a new Fallout 4 or Elder Scrolls announcement is underway. This would make sense, as it has been five years since Fallout: New Vegas released to critical acclaim.

There is also a chance that Bethesda may be working on a new Doom or Wolfenstein title, but all of these are speculation at this point, and it’s best not to get too hyped till the E3 conference in June. Fans can register for a chance to attend the live show or stream the live show via Twitch.
