Bloodborne to be exclusively available for PS4

Bloodborne

Bloodborne is an upcoming RPG title by From Software and has the same director as enjoyable though tough RPG Dark Souls. And lately we have been hearing a lot about the game, from the fact that it will be locked at 30 FPS to the new Chalice Dungeon feature. The more recent announcement from the developers states that the game will only be possible on the PlaysStation 4, so Xbox players will be missing out.

Producer Tsubasa Inaba has stated that unlike a lot of From Softwares recent titles, Bloodborne was “only possible with the power of the PlayStation 4.”

Director Hidetaka Miyazaki mentioned earlier that he had always wanted to create a game set in the Victorian Era, but had to wait because consoles were just “not powerful enough.” Of course, the PS4 offers exactly that so the game is sure to be visually stunning when it does release.

The game takes place in a 19th century Victorian city of Y'harnam where players will take the role of a traveller who has arrived in the city seeking a cure only to discover that a plague has ravaged the town and its citizens and turned them into malformed bestial creatures.

It is then the players duty to find a cure for the plague. Players will get to choose between several types of hunters which can then be customized later through the game to suit their play style.

Bloodborne is slated to release on 24th of March 2015 exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Check out the new gameplay trailer below.
