Capcom releases new Resident Evil Revelations 2 trailer

Resident Evil Revelations 2

A new trailer for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has been released by Capcom that introduces some of the games new characters. The debut trailer for the game was released a while back that showcases the numerous horrors that wait players in the upcoming game.

Fans had speculated much earlier that Barry Burton will be a key member of the cast for the game and that speculation has now been officially confirmed by Capcom and Burton will be in the game in search of his missing daughter Moira.

Burton will be joined by a new character on his journey, a young girl called Natalia Korda. Korda is a unique little girl that “has a strange power that allows her to sense enemies and hidden items“.

So she is going to be a pretty valuable character. Both Burton and Korda will be playable characters in Resident Evil Revelations 2. Players will have to alternate between the two as they explore the mysterious island and try their best to survive.

The game is a sequel to the original 3DS game classic. It is also very different from its predecessors and has been divided into episodes that will be released on a weekly basis, very much like the TellTale Games releases.

There will be a total of four episodes which are slated to release next year on February 17th and 18th. The retail version of the game will be available in March of 2015, once all four episodes have been released. The game is currently available for pre-order.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be available for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. In the meantime, check out the games latest trailer below:
