Destiny gets a quick fix

Destiny’s first expansion DLC titled The Dark Below will be available today, December 9th at around 1am Pacific Time. Bungie has released a quick hot-fix to prepare the game for the upcoming huge DLC. So players will first have to download the update before they can get the games DLC, and starting early would be a good idea. The games servers may probably get a bit laggy once the DLC does hit, with all the players rushing to get the content.

• General bug fixes to content features in The Dark Below

Activities

• Increased challenge levels for the following:
  • Daily Heroic Story
  • Weekly Heroic Strike
  • Weekly Nightfall Strike

The increased challenge levels have also been added since The Dark Below expansion will contain this feature. A number of other changes will also be added that will make things easier for players, such as enhanced gears and weapons which will now be available from the vendors in the Tower.
