Destiny player achieves the impossible as he solos Crota’s End Raid on hard

Destiny

Destiny player “The Legend Himself” does it again. After being the first player to the Crota’s End rain on normal difficulty he repeated the task on hard. "There was much less 'luck' in this run than it may seem," writes the player on his YouTube page. "First of all, this took dozens of hours to perfect and accomplish. Secondly, most of the seemingly random aspects of the Crota fight can be influenced in some way by careful gameplay."

“The Legend Himself” says that having extraordinary discipline helped him a lot. He further stated that the run seemed impossible with "a character anything short of level 32 Sunsinger Warlock with Starfire Protocol, Gjallarhorn, Ice Breaker, Red Death, Black Hammer, and a weapon with surplus."

Earlier this year fireteam One and Done beat the raid in under 30 minutes just hours after it went live. They were the first team that was able to beat the rain with the difficulty level set to hard. However, “The Legend Himself” was able to beat it on a higher difficulty and he did this without receiving any form of help from teammates.

He finished off by saying "I doubt many who watch this will fully appreciate the difficulty of this challenge, but I strongly encourage you to try."
