The EA servers facilitating online play of the EA games was reported to go down yesterday. The social media were flooded with complaints from angry EA game owners, who were not able to access the online multiplayer aspects of many games, and even single player titles that required server connections. As a result, the outage was followed by a clear intimidation from the company regarding the issue.
EA Support tweeted that the servers are experiencing an outage and they are trying to resolve it as fast as possible. They posted,
Most reports were regarding problems in games like FIFA, Battlefield, Plants vs Zombies, Madden and many more. As of now, the problem continues to persist with the several titles claimed to be down. The problem does exist on platforms other than PC too as various PlayStation and Xbox owners have also claimed inability to online access.
