With the big UFC 183 match between Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz set to happen this weekend at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Las Vegas, EA Sports has run a simulation game on its UFC title to predict the winner.
Anderson Silva has a lot running on this weekend game after suffering a nasty leg injury several months earlier which could have resulted in the end of the fighters MMA career. Nick Diaz, on the other hand, has lost his two previous matches and must win this match if he wants to avoid suffering three defeats in a row. So there is a lot of pressure riding on both competitors and viewers will just have to wait and see who comes out victorious this Saturday.
On a more light-hearted note, EA Sports has run another simulation match, this time to predict the winner of UFC 183. Keep in mind that this is just a game prediction and has nothing to do with the final outcome of this weekend’s match. EA has predicted several fights in the past, some of which have turned out to be accurate. EA has done the same with this year’s NFL Super Bowl by running a similar simulation on their Madden NFL 15 title(spoiler: they predict that the Patriots will win)
According to the simulation, the winner will be Silva, though the match was not an easy one. Round 1 saw both fighters landing their shots while Round 2 saw Silva take the upper hand while his opponent struggled to go for a takedown. The fight finally ended on Round 3 when Silva scores the TKO against Diaz.
So these are EA’s predictions but the final outcome at UFC 183 might be very different. EA Sports UFC released back in 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
