Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Collectors Edition

A special collector’s edition for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has been unveiled by Square Enix and it definitely looks cool. The collector’s edition will include bonus items like a manga, a gold steel book case, an art book and ace cards, all of which are not provided with the standard edition of the game.

The Collector’s Edition of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will contain great looking golden steel book case featuring art of the goddesses of Orience, a piece by one of Final Fantasy’s long time artist, Yoshitaka Amano. The Steel book case holds the games disc and a 15-track collection of songs. These songs have been handpicked by the games composer, Takeharu Ishimoto, who also did the score for Final Fantasy VII- Crises Core.

The Edition will also include a beautifully illustrated 200 page manga which helps give players some insight into the characters of Final Fantasy Type-0. So it’s definitely worth a read if you want to learn more about the characters in the game. The second book in the edition is a 80-page art book featuring some great art from the artist behind the title. It also has a forward written by the games director, Hajime Tabata.

And Lastly, the edition will also include five ‘Ace’s cards’ which will feature illustrations of the Type-0 Eidolons: Odin, Ifrit, Shiva, Diabolos, and naturally, Bahamut.

Players who pre-order the edition from Square Enix will also be included in a sweepstake with a chance to win a Final Fantasy Type-0 custom PS4, an art canvas of Ace, a Vermilion Bird lapel pin and other runners up prizes. The edition will also grant players access to the Final Fantasy XV -Episode Duscae- demo.

The Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Collector’s Edition us priced at $99.99 and will be available on the 17th of March, 2015.
