Grand Theft Auto V for PC launch date re-confirmed by Rockstar

Rockstar Ends Rumors Of Delayed Release Date for GTA5

All the speculation revolving around the release date of GTA V PC version were rubbished by Rockstar as they re-confirmed the officially annunced date. Now the official news is that January 27 is the day of release. According to earlier reports, the GTA V release date had been delayed to May 2015.

Rockstar gave a statement on their official website, which read, "GTAV will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to the date at this time." This was a response to a question on their forums.

Even though the game’s release date is confirmed, Steam shows the date as “Early 2015”, The physical requirements of the game has not been declared yet, which seems kind of fishy for a game that is releasing 3 weeks from now.

PC gamers have been patiently waiting for Grand Theft Auto V since it was first announced several years ago. GTA 5 was released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2013. One of the major causes of delay is believed to be the system requirements needed to perfect the game, especially its graphics. Developers have to consider the "variation of builds" from graphic cards, sound cards and the required amount of RAM needed in a PC.
