Hideo Kojima gives small update on the development of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain development
The game is expected to release in 2015.

Maker of one the most awaited games of the Meta Gear series, Hideo Kojima has a given a little insight of the progress of the enterprising games development. Konami has been working on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for several years now. The game is still on track for a 2015 release, but it has been an ambitious project. There’s a reason why Konami released Ground Zeroes in 2014 to lessen the long wait for The Phantom Pain.

Hideo Kojima has now tweeted on what he and his team have been currently working on for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Kojima said they are now combining the “backgrounds, characters, programming, motion, cutscenes, sound” and more to “become one“. He also said this is the phase in development where the creator sees if the entire game is interesting, dramatic and intuitive.

From the sounds of that, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is now being assembled and tested. It’s probably like when a movie finishes filming, and then the post production and editing phase begins.
